I'm a software engineer by trade, and tradition dictates that the first thing you write in a new programming language simply outputs a variation on the text "Hello world!". Because I like to be clever (often too much for my own good), I named my game studio by shoving together "salutations" (hello) and "terra" (world) for my own twist on a classic.
Here at Saluterra, I'm focused on creating immersive TTRPG supplementals that make life easier for GMs while also enabling player agency. Currently I am mostly interested in writing worlds/settings that serve as engaging backdrops to set campaigns against.
Saluterra Games is a solo effort that I undertake in my spare time as a passion project while also working full-time. As a result, I focus mainly on one project at a time and can take a long time to develop it to a level of quality that I'm happy with. I also rely mostly on word of mouth to put my work in front of new eyeballs, so if you enjoy my work I hope you'll consider recommending it to a friend that you think might also like it.
In any case, thanks for checking me out and I hope you like what you see!
In the year 2883, the fragile peace of the Sigrum IV star system threatens to shatter at a moment's notice. Meanwhile, billions of citizens struggle to maintain an ordinary life in a system that is far from ordinary and anything but gentle. The Worlds of Sigrum IV is a fully-realized setting and social ecosystem for sci-fi campaigns drawing inspiration from Cowboy Bebop, Alien, Blade Runner and more.
On Indyllion, every day is peaceful, and every little boy, girl, and enby goes to bed fearing no evil. That is, until a seeping ooze begins flowing from cracks in reality. The story of Indyllion is one of a picturesque and perfect place, full of talking woodland creatures and jolly red-capped gnomes, slowly being driven mad by a spiritual toxin.
I am always on the lookout for talented artists to help bring my ideas to life! I strive to make sure all the artists I work with are fairly compensated and prominently credited. If you're interested in working with me, I encourage you to email me your portfolio and commission policies. While I can't guarantee a reply, I will do my best to review the portfolios I receive and keep them in mind when choosing artists for my projects!
For my fellow indie designers, I don't currently have an interest in any collabs until I get a few projects of my own out the door. However, I could be convinced by the right idea. If you do want to work with me in some capacity, drop me a line and I'll do my best to get back to you!
Some of the creators that have inspired me to take the plunge into the world of TTRPG design include the kind folks at Tuesday Knight Games, Penguin King Games, Silverarm, and many more (disclaimer: I have no official affiliation these creators, I just think they're cool).
